4th International course on Microbiology of Mycobacterium ulcerans, a causative agent of Buruli ulcer

Objective: provide indispensable knowledge for the detection of M. ulcerans in biological samples. The theoretical and practical sessions will permit the participants amongst several other things to:
1.  Improve the quality of laboratory confirmation cases carried out in their respective countries,
2.  Reach the WHO TAG recommendation to confirm at least 50% of their BU cases.

Application: there are no registration fees.
Candidates are invited to download course application at http://www.pasteur-international.org/ip/easysite/pasteur-international-en/for-scientists/teaching-and-training and return completed form including CV and a supporting letter from the Head of the Laboratory or the Manager of BU control Program to mycobacteries@pasteur-yaounde.org.
Candidates will receive definite answer by the 26th of September 2011.
The maximum number of participant is 15.
Candidates selected will benefit from a financial assistance for transportation, accommodation and feeding. No daily subsidence allowance will be given.
