A full-time postdoctoral position is currently available in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to work at the recently created FONDAP Center for Genome Regulation in the Main Campus of P. Universidad Católica de Chile, downtown Santiago – Chile.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our interdisciplinary Plant Systems Biology research group. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research program to understand regulatory networks involved in N nutrient responses in Arabidopsis thaliana. The research activity will be carried out in collaboration with computer scientists, mathematicians and experimental biologists. We invite applicants with a PhD degree with strong biological (molecular biology, genetics or cell biology) or quantitative (computer sciences, mathematics or physics) backgrounds. Candidates are welcome to contact us to discuss their profile. Experience in some or all of the following disciplines is highly desirable: genomics, genetics, molecular biology and bioinformatics. The candidates should have strong communication skills and be capable of working in collaborative groups. A strong publication record is required.
